We were advised that we could get sandwiches from the gift shop. Most all of the restaurants were closed upon our arrival, and while there the renaming cafe was closed. We were assured that all the restaurants and facilities within the resort other than the valet would be open and available. Prior to leaving for our trip we had called to confirm that the restaurants and other facilities would be open. From front desk staff that appear that they would wish to be anywhere else, floor staff that are dismissive and an overall sense that the facility is failing. the staff appear to be poorly trained in hospitality or have become hopeless due to the neglected conditions surrounding the property. Carpets that have not been cleaned, piles of trash in cans and on floor, the hot tub empty with dirt and debris present. They lack the attention that is received by a gas station restroom. to start the facilities are in disrepair and are dirty. Harrah’s Laughlin has put a damper on this event. To start we came to Laughlin for a friends wedding expecting to have a relaxing couple days. My recent experience was not only disappointing, but the worst hotel experience that I have encountered. Let me preface this with I have stayed at many Harrah’s Resorts and have had a great time.
